ABOUT

Hi! I'm Sylvia, an artist based in Indianapolis, Indiana. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a minor in Media and Creative Advertising from Indiana University.

I work across a variety of mediums, though my primary practices are painting and design. My paintings combine abstraction and observation to evoke memory, connecting the unsettling and eerie with the warm and tangible. Through this balance, I explore the emotional and psychological spaces between familiarity and uncertainty.

Alongside my studio practice, I work as a designer for local organizations and Indiana-based music artists and bands, creating merchandise and promotional materials including T-shirts, stickers, posters, and social media graphics. I enjoy collaborating with artists and community organizations to develop thoughtful, visually engaging designs that reflect their identity.

I am currently available for commissions and welcome inquiries about original artwork, design projects, and available works. If you're interested in working together or purchasing a piece, please visit the Contact page.
